Access statement for Waunifor

Please talk to us if you have any special needs, or want to discuss any aspects of our facilities. We want our visitors to be comfortable and safe and will help in any way we can, or advise if we think the premises are unsuitable for your requirements.

Accessing the site
  • There are rail and coach stations at Carmarthen
  • We have ample parking facilities on site. The cottages have their own parking places in addition to the main car park for the centre. From the car park there is a wheel chair-friendly path to the mansion house and new event space and catering facility. There are also designated disabled parking spaces beside each of the new buildings.
Accessing the accommodation
  • Robin, Stable and Heron cottages have parking right outside the door, the other cottages have parking within 10 metres, with access via level pathways
  • Visitors are greeted on arrival. Please inform us if any special arrangements are needed.
  • Robin and Stable cottages have no steps at all to their main entrances (nearest to parking), and one approx. 15cm (6") step at the rear.
  • The Longhouse has one very shallow step at the front door (approx 5cm/2")
