Craft and Pottery at Waunifor

Whilst you are on holiday, you can take advantage of the beautiful, light and airy custom-built Waunifor Craft and Pottery studio, in its peaceful and relaxing setting.  If you have always wanted to try your hand at throwing a pot on the wheel or making a clay model, learning how to make a mosaic, or creating some beautiful bead jewellery, then a Waunifor Crafty Break is for you.  We cater for individuals, families, and groups, and you can book as many or as few two-hour sessions as you want during your stay.
You can choose from;

• Throwing on the potter’s wheel:
• Clay modelling and hand-building:
• Pottery painting – decorate a ready made plate, bowl, mug, vase etc, and have it glazed and fired ready for your return home:
• Mosaics using brilliantly coloured glass tiles:
• Crazy mosaics, using recycled broken china and found objects:
• Making beads from polymer clay (Fimo):
• Making bead jewellery, using exciting beads from around the world to make necklaces, earrings, bracelets and more:
• Making felt – wall-hangings, tea cosies, bags, etc, from fleece to finished article:
• Glass painting, using wonderful translucent paints to decorate glassware:
• Making greetings cards, using a variety of techniques.

Materials and equipment are provided, so all you need is your creativity and enthusiasm.  Fun for all the family; great for reunions with friends or hen parties; or choose one-to-one tuition and exploration in your chosen craft to add to a delightful break – maybe whilst your partner is off enjoying fishing or bird watching!

Regular weekly pottery classes are also held in the Studio for those living locally, as well as a programme of the other crafts listed above – these can be joined by anyone staying on site, if there is room.
