Robin Cottage - Sleeps 4
Robin Cottage is a delightful single storey cottage that can accommodate up to four people. It has three bedrooms, one twin-bedded and two singles. There is an electric shower, wash basin and WC. As with all our cottages, Robin has central heating throughout and a fully fitted kitchen. There is a comfortable lounge/diner with French windows opening out onto the lawn, with an engaging view across towards the pond.
Stable Cottage - Sleeps 6
Stable Cottage, as the name suggests, is a converted stone stable, and retains some character features, such as recesses which held hay for the horses. Stable sleeps six people in three twin-bedded rooms, all upstairs. Also upstairs is the bathroom with bath, WC and wash basin. Downstairs is a shower room, also with hand basin. There is a spacious kitchen/breakfast room and lounge with dining area. The lounge has a wood burning stove and double glass doors opening out onto a slate patio, overlooking the courtyard and gardens. Stable cottage oozes charm and character
The Longhouse – Sleeps 9/10
The Long House is the oldest existing building on the site, and is of traditional Welsh design, built around 1760. The Long House sleeps 10 people in three twin rooms (two of which are on the ground floor), one triple room, and one single room. There are two bathrooms (one upstairs, one downstairs) both with bath and shower, and a fully fitted and equipped small kitchen. The Long House has a superb beamed living room, with a wood burning stove in an ingle-nook fireplace, and large wood-panelled dining area. To the front of the cottage there is a delightful garden with picnic tables and lawns, and at the back there is a flower filled bank, with a small patio and stone steps up to the walled garden.
Heron is a spacious cottage with large living area and three twin bedded rooms. It is entirely on the ground floor (the dormer windows belong to the flat above) and looks across lawns to the stream with a wonderful variety of birds in the surrounding trees. The large kitchen has breakfast bar seating as well as a table and the bathroom also has a shower. The living room is very light and airy with windows to the back and side and French windows opening on to the garden at the front. There is a dining area at one end and there is a wood-burner to make autumn and winter visitors extra cosy and warm.
