The secluded five acre gardens and grounds, traditional accommodation and friendly staff make Waunifor a lovely venue for a holiday. Surrounded by rolling green hills and wooded valleys and with the unspoilt beaches of Cardigan Bay within easy reach, Waunifor is a great getaway destination. Located on the borders of Carmarthenshire to the south (the garden of Wales) and Ceredigion (with its heritage coastline) to the north, there is a wide range of local attractions and places to visit for all the family.
Originally the buildings of an historic estate, the six holiday cottages (sleeping two, four, six, eight and ten people) are all traditional stone buildings and have been sympathetically restored and upgraded to offer spacious, homely and comfortable accommodation. All graded 3 star by the Welsh Tourist Board, the self-catering cottages retain plenty of charm and are centrally heated and fully equipped, most having an open fire or wood-burner and each with it’s own unique character and style. There is a play area for children and a small gift shop selling crafts, cards and snacks as well as a coin operated laundry. The on-site working pottery and craft studio mean you and your family can try something different during your holiday. We are open all year round for holidays, as well as weekends or short breaks, and cottages can be booked together for larger groups.
