Traditional Welsh long house…

The Longhouse is one of our most popular holiday cottages and is ideal self catering accommodation for a large family or group of friends as it is really spacious and full of character. It is a listed building built around 1760 and is of traditional Welsh design.

The Longhouse sleeps up to 10 people in three twin rooms (two of which are on the ground floor), one triple room and one single room. There are two bathrooms (one upstairs, one downstairs) both with bath and shower, and a fully fitted and equipped small kitchen. The Longhouse has a superb beamed living room with a wood burning stove set in a stunning inglenook fireplace and a large wood panelled dining area.

To the front of the cottage there is a delightful garden area with picnic tables and lawns which is fully enclosed and at the back there is a flower filled bank with a small patio and stone steps up to the walled garden.

We loved our holiday in The Longhouse as the place is so unspoilt and there was a really relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. I enjoyed finding the hidden treasures around the grounds and realised a lifelong ambition by ‘throwing a pot’ in the crafts studio.
