We had a wonderful stay at Waunifor. Robin Cottage was ideal for us and the dog. We enjoyed the art exhibition showing local artists and even bought something. A hidden gem which we really appreciated. Pembrey Country Park was fantastic, we loved the dog beach, crazy golf, bike hire and pitch n' put. Thank you so much.

To Waunifor, Thank you for the lovely stay in the Longhouse. It was a lovely stay and the cottage was beautiful and perfect for your family (6 adults and 4 children). Great facilities for chidlren - the play area and play house. The cottage is very cosy and the Waunifor complex is very peaceful.
James family, The Longhouse, August
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here- cosy and comfortable accommodation in a beautiful and tranquil setting. The art exhibition was excellent, as was the food at the Rendezvous Cafe (only open when the art exhibition is on at the end of August) and we would strongly recommend a pottery class with David. He is a great teacher and we had a lot of fun and made loads of 'wibbly pots'.
Jackie and Alistair, Duckpond cottage, August

Liz, Glenn & Amy, June 2015
‘Our stay at Waunifor for a week in August was enjoyable and great fun as we took full advantage of art and pottery classes ..so convenient to have them on your doorstep! Then were lucky to catch the opening of an excellent art exhibition at the end of the week. The cottage was reasonably priced and comfortable, and set in a peaceful environment which we appreciated.
A favourite with me was the friendly local, the ‘Railway Inn’ which serves food, only open for the second half of the week though. We made visits to other nearby places such as: the coast, loved Pen Bryn; Llandysul, which has an excellent delicatessen and town walk leaflet; Carmarthen where the castle has interesting historical displays and videos and lots of enticing independent shops nearby. A lovely holiday at Waunifor, full of interest and variety.
Berry Dicker, August 2015.

A gem of a place. If you want the quietness of country life Waunifor is the place to come. After two days I was really relaxed and energised. Wonderful attractions within 1 hours drive of the cottage. The cottage is a bit dated but after we settled in we could overlook this. The staff are friendly and very, very accommodating. All in all a lovely holiday and would certainly come back. Thank you all.

We had a cracking weekend. We visited New Quay, Llangrannog, saw some dolphins and seals, paddled on the beach, ate fish & chips, ice-cream and bara brith. We also had a couple of delightful walks along the coast too and had lots of fun back at Waunifor where we were able to get 13 around the table in The Longhouse. The accommodation was spot on for our group. The Coach-house worked out rather well with bedrooms and bathrooms at each end.

I wanted to say how much we all enjoyed our stay in the Longhouse over the May half term holidays. It was a wonderfully relaxed setting which all members of the family thoroughly enjoyed. It was an ideal location to visit many of the sights in the area and between us I think we managed to see a fair few although we did leave some so that we have an excuse to return! The younger children enjoyed
pottery painting and the older ones, including grandad, has great fun making their pots on the wheel, an experience they won’t forget for some time.

Family staying in Coachhouse Mews Holiday Cottage, Spring 2010
We were so pleased with the Coachhouse welcome - it’s little box of chocs, lovely homemade jam and it was so clean which all made our holiday begin so positively. We found Lisette (the pottery and crafts tutor) both charming and talented. The environment was perfect for us, her studio a pleasure to be in. We have learnt how to mosaic and glass paint with ease and found it such fun too. Sophie (Mayflower health and beauty) is mellow, professional and a delight to be with. Her manicure was perfect. I can honestly say it has been a total pleasure and we will most definitely be visiting you all again.
Wendy and Kevin Day, Coachhouse-Mews Holiday Cottage, Feb 2010.
Stable Cottage was very spacious and the children have had a ball playing in the wooded areas and riding their bikes. We very much enjoyed the Pilgrims Walk alongside the river yesterday. Waunifor was perfect for our large family get-together. We felt very relaxed here and the children loved the freedom to run around and explore. We really appreciated having an old fashioned style holiday, getting a break from too much TV and computer games, enjoying quality time together and spending time outside close to nature.

Elizabeth Sharnock, Robin Holiday Cottage, May 09
We go to a lot of really beautiful places but it’s really special here. We wish we’d found it years ago!
Celia and Allan
What we particularly enjoyed about Waunifor was the peaceful, open location. The cottage was really spacious with a lovely log fire and the facilities were excellent. All the places we visited were not overly commercialised and we found the whole area to be unspoilt and slow paced – a welcome change. Most places we visited were within ½-1 hour away with gorgeous views along the way.
We loved the beautiful quiet surroundings. The site is lovely and relaxing and very pretty and well kept. The staff are always very helpful and friendly and we were also very pleased to find out the site was run on sustainable principles.
We particularly enjoyed the beautiful Waunifor site, the gardens are so pretty and it is wonderful for children. Our dog was also welcome and coped well with his first ever holiday. We appreciated the friendliness of the staff – thank you – and the cottage was clean and again we felt we were made very welcome. Terina & Graham Stevenson and family
Peaceful setting and lovely grounds
We found Waunifor by searching for ‘pet friendly’ cottages as we have 2 small dogs and were delighted with the holiday. We loved the peace and quiet and appreciated the friendly staff. In fact we enjoyed it so much it is the only cottage we would come back to!
Lyn & Richard
We stayed here 20 years ago and couldn’t believe the difference now. In one word ’FAB’. The changes that have been made really do make you feel at home. Duckpond Cottage is clean, bright and all you need for a holiday.
May I say on behalf of everyone we had a lovely time and were very pleased with the surroundings and hospitality that we had. The Longhouse was nicely decorated and had all the appliances one would need for a holiday stay. We are coming back next summer and booking 3 cottages for our wider family!
James and Family
We loved the peace and tranquillity, space and beautiful grounds and the relaxed approach. The cottage was very clean and well-equipped with comfortable beds.

Firstly I want to thank you for such a lovely holiday we had - I’ve been telling everyone about it, and we’ve been showing off our creations (pottery and mosaics made during classes in the pottery and craft studio)! It was just the holiday I was looking for me and the girls and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in the beautiful surroundings.
